I have an x51v with the flash player 7 installed, but when I try to open flash content in pie it doesn't show up at all, or redirects me to '' Flash not detected page''. I downloaded tweaks 2k2, but the hack was not there. Is there another program to force flash to be displayed in PIE?
I want to know this too. I got this nice flash player 7 installed on my axim and i cant use it. For some reason, sites think that flash player isnt installed. This drives me crazy too! I modified the registry so sites would think pocket ie was ie 6 on xp. I wonder if in that same area i could put something about falsh being installed, so sites would know.

Even when a message that the player is not installed is non-existent, PIE still doesn't show the flash content. Could there be an alternitive browser that supports flash? I tried opera and minimo but neither of those work at all
PC's must need to change the registry after installing the flash player so that sites can regognise it, maybe someone should monitor the registry changes after installing the player on the PC and enter the settings manually. I can't believe that tweaks 2k2 hasn't got it.
look under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Apps\Macromedia Flash Player and see if the proper registry entries are there. Also, try disabling PIE as IE and see if it works.

The reg key u suggested just contains info about the install dir, cab file source, commad file. If I change pocket ie back to ie, then sites will think my browser is ie4, too old.
I can see some basic flash in PIE. Some of those sites with the funny flash movies play perfectly on my PIE WM5 device with Macromedia Flash Player 7 installed.
