I've also been using it with BugMe... not 100% perfect, but I think I will keep it at VGA.

I'm using it with Adobe Acrobat Reader for PPC v2.0 as well. As for Avantgo, the latest beta of Avantgo already supports VGA so I didn't bother using ForceHiRes with it.

It also works great with PocketStreets 2001...

That is the only drawback to using ForceHires, and unfortunately there is no fix.

I'm using this applet for:

Adobe Reader 2.0
Remote Display Control
Pocket TV Listings
SimCity 2000

Hey, thats great! Tweaks2k2 can do the same thing, but its a bit of a hassle to load a program like that for just VGA. P.S. Need a web host? I'd be happy to host it for you! (Got nuttin' to do wit 25 GB worth of bandwidth)

Sure, if you'd like to host the files, that would be great! PM me with the new address and I'll switch my original post. I'm sure that the megaupload link will expire sooner or later.

I could host as well, as a backup in case the original goes down, if you'd like. (I've got a ton of bandwidth to chew through. I mean 1 TeraByte (1,024 GB) a month to munch on!)

Everything I've tried this on does strange things… for example, the toolbar buttons become really small, and then the clickable toolbar button spaces don't align with the icons properly. Stand Alone Crosswords is one that does this. Does anyone have a solution for this?

The only solution is if the program's creator rewrites the program to display correctly in VGA mode. The toolbar buttons become real small because they were only programmed to display on a QVGA device. This applet is only making the program VGA aware; it can't recreate larger buttons and so forth for the program.

I don't mind the small toolbar buttons, but when the button area doesn't align with the button icon, it makes it hard to use anything.
