Just bought Wisebar Advance....Love it!

Well I got that. So now what else? I'll save The WAD for next payday. Any suggestions would be great!

Only one thing I don't like. How do you get it to stop making all those noises evertime a menu opens, etc.!

It is a great piece of software isnt it. now go get some skins from the lake ridge software fourms, and youll be good to go. WAD is also very nice, I use both and love them.

Glad you like Wisbar, I use it also. As for the sounds you can simply remove the sound folder from whatever skin you're using and voila`, no more sounds. Remember there are a myriad of skinning choices available to you so go have some fun!!!

PS. OH yeah you might be able to just turn off the wisbar sounds and use system defaults in the options.

Yeah, I figured out how to turn it off in Theme options. I want to figure out how to load that Vista skin by Xcilion, but I can't get it to work.

what I do for skins is put them in a folder on my SD card(wisbar_skins) then open the settings for wisbar choose custom theme then just import the file and there you go all skinned out without actually storing the skins in the ram.

I also erase the built in skins i don't use to save RAM.

You can also define additional theme directories by going into WA2's settings and selecting Program Directories. Underneath the Start Menu Path you will see Additional Theme Directories. Tap on Add at the bottom of the screen and select the folder on a storage card, etc. that you have stored your WA2 themes. Once you exit out of the settings and then return, the skins from that folder will show in your skin selection list.

Copy the entire folder called Windows Vista - WA2 from the skin package to the Wisbar Advance 2 themes folder on your device. Then, once inside WA2's settings under My Theme, you should have three choices of the skin called Windows Vista Portable Edition. Select one and then tap on the green checkmark at the bottom of the screen, then tap the checkmark at the top of the screen to exit settings.

Make sure that you have the right skin package for your device. There is a VGA version and a just released QVGA version. I hope this helps.

On your pc, show all files and then delete the thumbs file before copying to your ppc.
