apparently my sound issue was because my cfg file somehow corrupted...deleted my cfg, turned on sound with the normal version, turn on 2700g support with the 2700g version and all is well (almost)
how do you get back to the pocketgba screen while the game is being emulated? tapping the task bar area used to work, but it looks like the graphics are all corrupted when i emulate
WOW!!! This version works great! I'm getting 30-40 FPS at 100% speed on games where previously I had around 8-15 FPS. BIG improvement! :approve:
Okay, I have the exact same device as you (ROM v.06 even), and I'm only getting 22 FPS with sound turned off. With sound on it is unplayable. I just did a hard reset, and the only things I've put on are pocketGBA and the fmod dll. How are you getting such high speeds?

It depends totally on the game you are playing. Games like DOOM only give me 4 FPS with sound on. The game I was referring to was Sonic Advance. Also, I am running XCPUScalar 2005 which overclocks my CPU to 663 MHz.
Haha, I know exactly what you mean. Its such an improvement it doesn't seem right! Games run soo fast now! Wonderful.
All aspects of the emulator work great, except the sound. I understand that some games will not work with the sound, but for the ones that do, how does it sound?
My sound is chopy and a bit scrambled. Is that normal, are others experiencing the same thing? I have not loaded any sound hacks or anything like that. I am just using the emulator.

EDIT: Can anybody get it to display in landscape mode? When I enable the 2700G setting, it defaults back to potrait. Is anybody else experiencing this issue?
Well, it's a known thing. As you may have noticed, this version doesn't have any release number, because it's only a BETA version - it was coded only to try out if there's any improvement in speed, there were no optimizations/bugfixes - the main purpose of this beta-version was just to test 2700G-acceleration. (Apparently there is really big speed improvement, judging by your experiences). I'm with a close contact with Trapung (He programmed this neat emulator). Since there's a positive feedback, he will debug this beta version - (he'll fix the disappearing on-screen buttons etc.)
For your information, with this beta release, there was a note attached to it.

So that's that.
And as a little gift, Trapung promised to add .zip rom support for those with small storage capacity. (Please don't be mistaken, this won't solve free ram problems! You will still need to have free 32/24/16/8/4 MB ram (depending on the cartridge) )
P.S.:
About that game controller... Well I advise you to wait a little while. I believe you'll want to use bluetooth game controller and there's a little problem - PocketGBA uses GAPI library for button-input and GAPI can't catch those key-values(num-pad , wireless keyboards) exactly. I'd wait 'till this is solved.

I knew there had to be some type of comment for the portrait mode limitation but I just could not find it.
As for the controller, :(
I was really looking forward to getting it and playing all these great games on my Axim. This would solidified my feeling about the Axim and its gaming capabilities.
Will you ask your friend if he could work on that too? I know I maybe a bit greedy here , but it would be fantastic!
I know it'll be better with gamepad or wireless keyboard - you won't be destroying your axim's buttons etc, so I'll ask Trapung if there's something he can do. He's The Man, I'm sure he'll be able to solve this somehow, but you'll probably have to wait a little while - he's currently working on new version which will support zipped roms as well as fixing on screen buttons disappearing in 2700g mode.
I tried using this program for the 1st time on my x51v. The 2700g .EXE does not work at all. It gives the error: "The file cannot be opened. Either it is not signed with a trusted certificate, or one of its components cannot be found. You might need to reinstall or restore this file."
I've tried to fix this (re-download file, etc.) nothing works.
The regular EXE file works, but I get bombarded with WM5 errors telling me to "SEND/Don't SEND" error messages to Microsoft, I finally turned off that system and tried to run a game.
I get the same problem someone else mentioned here where if I press a hardware button, it runs what is linked to that button from WM5, instead of a game function. mapping the button using the emulator tool does nothing to help this ability.
Any help???
