anyone heard from Omega One??

Has anyone heard from Omega One about fixing Journal bar - so it works

From what I see, there are a lot of people having issues. It seems like Omega One is way S---L---O---W---

Doesn't Omega One also make Battery Pack Pro? That program was one of the most uniformed newb decisions I ever made while purchasing software. If Journal bar is anything like Battery Pack Pro it's bloated and buggy and not worth the money.

Omega One used to have great tech support. I had Journal Bar issues last year, and they responded quickly - sounds like thinks may have changed? I've noticed JB takes a LONG time to update now, even slower than what I've noticed before (and I'm on dial-up, so I'm used to slow!).

They just recently had a version update that allows Proxy support. The only problem is most of the users are unable to use the new version. Its been 2 weeks and no new update.

I want to get back to using Journal bar, because I can use it at work with the proxy support. Oh well...

I purchased Battery Pack Pro. It was wasted money. The software caused my x51v to lock up everytime I powered on. The only way to get the Axim working again was to do a hard reset and reinstall everything. I contacted tech support and was told to remove "Magic Button" which I did, but it didn't change the lockup problem. I hard reset and installed nothing but BPP, and still locked up, so it wasn't a software conflict. I contacted tech support and asked for further assistance, but got no response. Don't waste your money here....

I use BPP on my x51v A12 and find it very good. I am using v2.1.3 and it is impoved over the older versions for VGA. It did cost to upgrade. support has been speedy too.

I've got same problem here: Axim X51v and Battery Pack Pro 2.1.3 Trial. After installing this trial my Axim doesn't work at all. The only function I can do after installing it is hard reset and reinstall everything again.

I wish I had had tried the trial before I purchased it, but I didn't. I just figured it would work. It's not like it was beta software. But it doesn't work and there's no refund available. My advice is to avoid it.

I contacted omega one on this issue and they say: "For reference, we are
working on new versions of both Battery Pack Pro and Journal Bar at
present which we plan to release as soon as possible.

Best regards

Omega One Software LLC"

I got a reply within 1 hour of submitting a support form.

Must mean they've had major issues they've got to clean up in both programs. I'm still using a version of Journal Bar from a couple months back ... it still works, though very slow. Not gonna' update until I hear the program is working well again.

I have not used Journal-Bar but I am running Battery Pack Pro without an issue. I have never had an issue with it. This is even after I upgraded my rom from A06 to A12 & had to reinstall it.
