Spb Backup Software

I recently purchased the Spb Backup software and have been successful in backing up data to my CF card. The Spb website indicates that in order to restore backed up data you must copy that file on the CF card. My question is, where do you then paste or locate that backedup file? The user's manual on the website is not all that clear.

I've only had to restore from a spb Backup once. I ran it from the CF card. I didn't copy it anywhere.

I am not familiar with SPB Backup but I use Sprite Backup and it gives me option on backing it up to either CF or SD. Check on the option and see if you can find the location option.

You don't need to relocated that file anywhere. Just run it from where you have it (either on the CF Card or from the SD Card). The only rule is make sure if you are trying to do a restore you don't run the file from the built in storage area of your PPC since it would get over written suring the retore process....

Eh, for me, SPB Backup asked me where I wanted the backup file, and I backed up the contents of my device to Backup_(Date).exe on the CF card. The one or two times I've had to run the backup, I just execute from the CF card after getting to it using File Explorer or Resco, and then picking the file I want to restore from.
