Question Is there a program to launch other programs at scheduled time?

Hi all. I just got my new x51v a couple days ago. Members of Aximsite are extremely knowledgable and helpful!

I just have a quick question: Is there a program that allows me to run other programs at scheduled time?

What I am trying to do is to play .mp3 music as alarm in the mornings, so I'll need to start the player at the time I want.

(By the way, on the topic of alarms, the only way I could make the built-in alarm work correctly is to turn on Notification sounds. But then when I tap Start, and other things, there will be a beep sound, which I really don't want. Is there anyway to turn of the sounds for tapping, and keep the alarm?)

Thanks for your time!

Try this. I have never used it but. I have heard good things about it. Here is the web site http://www.sto-helit.de/modules/edito/content.php?id=38

Here is a discussion about it http://www.lakeridgesoftware.com/for...ead.php?t=7857

I hope that helps.

Thanks a lot! While MortScript looks complicated to use, I think it will do what I need. I will try it and see how it goes.

You could just use MortPlayer which has an alarm function built in. I've used it a few times. Works well.

You can turn off individual sounds in the "Sounds and Notifications" control panel....

Mortplayer works great for waking you up with mp3-music in the morning, and it's free.
If you wanna go more complex and have programs started on a specific time, emulate screen taps, and so on, take a look at SK ScheMa. It cost around 10$ i think but is worth the price if you need it (but don't buy it if you only want to have music to wake you up... use mortplayer for that one, that's free :) )
greetings,
cmdkeen

Sorry should have posted this earlier but I didn't know it at the time but you can use Memmaid to run a program at a certain time. It's under the notifications queue tab click on add and there you'll see an option that allows you to browse to the executible of your choice.

Thank you all! MortPlayer's alarm already does what I needed, the Notification Queue of MemMaid also comes in quite handy.:approve:
