Question Controlling PC with Axim-Utility?

OK I have searched and searched (not to be confused with there not being a program available) and cannot find a utility that will do the following:

Wireless (BT or WiFi) controll my PC (Laptop usually)
What I want to do is be able to controll the following (or more):
  • Windows Media Player
  • Other loaded DVD/Video playing software
  • Winamp
  • PowerPoint shows - including being able to use the PowerPoint markup ability (remote mouse function?)
  • Shutdown PC

Does this exist yet? Thanks a lot for all your past help.

PS for those who have emailed I have recovered from my "heart attack" and am back at work.

Hurray:approve:

Look for VNC.

There is the PC server component and then the VNC client for the Axim.

Ack! I used to have a great program that allowed you to use a pocketpc as a remote keyboard/mouse via wifi, but now I can't find it! It was kinda like Total Input, but much better because you could design custom interfaces for certain programs. It was called Pocketpad or something... dammit, I really liked that prog!

UPDATE: Found It!

For Windows Media Player there's Pocket Media Control:
http://www.kiwisrus.net/mediacontrol/default.htm (free)

For the rest of it I'd use logmein.com as previously mentioned (also free). It's much easier to set up and use than VNC.

UPDATE: Found It![/QUOTE]

Dude, I just downloaded and tested out this PPC Tablet program and all I can say is...SWEET! The first thing I tested was the pre-installed Firefox profile. It worked like a charm. Had to do some configuring of my firewall to accept connections on port 333. I can't wait to play with this some more. I wonder if there is any sort of macros you can run in this software? Thanks for the tip.

The perfect program would also allow me to use axims bluetooth to connect thing like my phone to my pc via bluetooth. instead of using a usb adapter to make my pc bluetooth capable, I would use my pda. :)

Does anyone know if it is possible to download from your pc remotely using one of these programs. I need a program that allows me to download over the internet from my PC to my PDA from about 2500 miles away.
