Exclamation Pocket Excel file conversion

Help!
I have a regular Excel file (created in Excel 95) that I normally sync with my Dell.
I typically make changes on my PC and have no trouble sync'ing.
However, I made changes to the file on my Dell and after I sync'ed this morning, the file will no longer open on my PC.
I get an error message that says "file format is not vaild"
Figure it has something to do with the converison from a Pocket Excel file, but don't know how to fix it???
Thanks!!

It stores in Excel97 just fine for me, maybe that's the problem?

yeah - you're probably right.
unfortunately my lame ass company can't seem to upgrade any of our software.
I was able to send the file to our "conversion" center and they converted it back for me.
nice...

Could be because of the older version of Excel on the desktop. I run Excel 2000 and have no problems. The only complaint I would have is that pocket excel doesn't seem to support text boxes. So if you compose a worksheet on the computer which has a textbox, sync it to your handheld, and then make changes to the worksheet on your handheld, when you sync it back to your desktop you lose the textbox.

I find Pocket Excel thoroughly "underwhelming". I can't use many of the spreadsheets I've designed on my Ax because PExcel doesn't support page/workbook links.

It amazes me that several PalmOS Excel packages (TinySheet, Docs-to-Go) have much better Excel integration that M$'s own PExcel. Quite unacceptable, if you ask me...
