i've been using Pocket Informant for some time nw and really like it..however, lately when syncing, i get duplicate appointments and contacts. any idea why this is happening? is it an outlook problem? if so, how do i fix it?

This happens from time to time and seems to be an ActiveSync problem. I find it happens most when there have been changes made on both the desktop and the PPC resulting in some confusion. Just manually delete the duplicates then re-sync.

If you have a large number of duplicates, there are also utilities out there that will automatically remove them for you. I've used one before and it worked as advertised and was free. I don't recall the name of it, but I found it via google.

i have about a years worth of duplicates, so it would be tough to delete them all manually.

i did google for a free program, but only found shareware that deletes a few duplicates at a time.

This app has been around for a while. The monk who wrote it has moved on and now it's hosted elsewhere.

That is the app that I used myself (I think). I seem to remember how the install routine said something about religion.

One way or the other, it worked fine.
