great suggestion for handyswitcher

it would be amazing if you could integrate handymenu and handylauncher (with an option to enable/disable in handyswitcher options screen) into the handyswitcher drop down menu...

i have all three programs integrated into the one icon. i have handyswitcher bound to a hardware button (in this case the "start menu" hardware button...i have the start menu bound to the left soft button) so that when i press the hardware button it opens the menu with my running programs...

...if you could add below that - where minimize all, close all, close all except active are - menu items that will open handylauncher (and/or extra launcher??) and handymenu it would greatly improve the one handed functionality. 1 hardware button would get me to all three programs...it would be similar to the "programs" and "control panel" dropdowns in windows desktop start menu. the handyswitcher menu wouldn't necessarily have to stay open and cascade like in windows desktop but at least they could open the menus for me.

thanks for listening to my suggestion,

-jeff

Hello Jeff,
Sorry for the late reply,
You can do something similar right now but adding HandySwitcher and HandyMenu to HandyLauncher's menu.
When you select HandyMenu or HandySwitcher from the HandyLauncher's menu, HandyLauncher's menu will close and the other menu will open.
Then you can map HandyLauncher to a hardware button and access the three programs through this hardware button.

Does this satisfy your requirements?

i have considered that method already and it's less efficient...handyswitcher is the program i use most because it's like the task bar in windows...the task bar includes the start menu...if i had to open the start menu every time i wanted to switch between/close/minimize programs, it would be a pain. that's the same way i see it on the phone...

...using the method you suggested would require 3 buttons to get to handyswitcher instead of 1...maybe it's nitpicking but i don't think it would be that hard to build access to handylauncher and menu through handyswitcher - you already recognize that handyswitcher is the more important program because when you combine the icons, handyswitcher is the main one.

also (not related), an issue i mentioned earlier without response was that if you add extralauncher to the handylauncher menu, it doesn't always open - sometimes i have to open handylauncher twice and choose extralauncher twice before it opens...this is also annoying. handymenu seems to work fine like this.

thanks!,
