Aximsitebluetoothicon Microsoft Portrait HELP

Hi!

I'm trying to use Microsoft Portrait or GPhone to work with Bluetooth. I have an Axim X51 with WM5.

Anybody have any tutorials or suggestions? Or, if you know of a program that will work in place of these, could you list it.

Thanks, Alex

How are you using BT to connect? Can you be a bit more specific?

See if this will help get you started (although you may need to update your BT stack):

I don't have an X51 so have never done it myself, but take a look at these threads for support:

As Gigi has mentioned, you'll need either BT PAN or Wi-Fi P2P to achieve this - if you don't directly connect to the Net from both devices. The BT PAN tutorial is in the above-linked PPCT thread; the Wi-Fi P2P tutorial is here.

To use BT PAN, your only way is using the Widcomm BT stack hack. Wi-Fi P2P doesn't require any kind of hacking.

Of the two apps you've listed, I'd go with MS Portrait.

Ok. THANKS!!!

One more problem....

One of my co-workers has a Dell Axim X51, but they are using a SDIO wireless card. I can't seem to get it to work with ANY program. It won't turn on, and I have tried everything. Do you know of a tutorial that I can use?

Thanks
alex
