Has anyone had problems with backups not running on schedule? SPB Backup is set to run a scheduled backup at 4 am. I put my Axim in standby at night, but in the morning when I turn it on, the today screen clock shows 4:00 AM for a few seconds, then adjusts to the correct time, and then I get a notification saying the backup will start in 15 seconds. So instead of having the backup run at night, I have to wait for it every morning.

I had the same problem with Sprite, which is why I decided to try Spb. Only when Sprite skipped the scheduled backup, it just gave me a message saying the backup time had elapsed and didn't offer to do one in the morning.

Does anyone know what could be causing this?

Do you have the security app enabled (device is password protected)?
Is the device in a cradle connected to a PC or connected to an external power source?
Is the option (in SPB) to only backup while on A/C selected?

I'm running WM2K3.2, which admittedely is different than WM5. However, Spb Backup will NOT wake up under the password/security lockout on my X50V and further, interferes with Sprite Backup causing it to skip that backup, even when the Sprite is scheduled earlier than the Spb. A deinstallation of Spb was insufficient to to correct this, I had to use a registry editor to remove all traces of Spb backup and then reinstall Sprite Backup to regain functionality.

There were issues with alarms and scheduling in general in WM2K3.2. I installed pTravelAlarm_WakeupTweak.exe and that seems to have alleviated them for me. Are there similar bugs still in WM5?
