Anti-Virus

Anybody have any anti-virus programs for there Axim? I'm not sure how necessary it might be. Obviously the question might be directly related to how much downloading I do on the internet but I'm just curious as too how big of an issue viruses are on PDAs.

Those that are trying to sell AV products for the PocketPC will say there's a "growing" threat.... because they're trying to sell you a product that you have no need for. This is the definition of FUD! While it's questionable if there will be a (far) future need of AV products for handheld's, it's unquestionable that there is no need now. My OPINION? AV on a handheld is waste of time, clock cycles and MONEY!

There have been 2 written as proof of concept. Now, if some guy in a white lab coat approaches you and asks very politely if he may test his proof-of-concept virus on your PPC, do you need Norton Antivirus to tell him "no thanks?"

I picture him with a mustache and a German accent, like Daimler-Chrysler's "Dr. Z."

so for these PPC anti-virus programs, what virii do they list that they protect you from? Or do they just have "advanced heuristics" to protect you from the inevitable onslaught of PPC viruses that will be released at the next full moon?
