Question Paging Mobsync experts

I have a perplexing problem with Mobsync. Since it's essentially an un supported app, I'm hopeing someone out there can help. I used Mobsync for ~8 months without issue to sync podcasts to my X51V's sd card. A couple of days ago it stopped working and I can't figure out why or how to correct it. When it attempt's to sync I get sync failed file warnings. It will go 3-4 entries down and I will see a "sync stopped". At best, the file header will appear on my Ax, but it will be a 0 byte file. The log file mentions file size mismatch's and PC connection failures. There is no sync at all from mobile device to PC. Activesync functions fine and I have no trouble transfering files manually. I'm guessing that this problem is on the pc side. I haven't installed any programs recently or changed any system configuration . I've completely uninstalled and re installed Mobsync but there's no change. The only thing left that I can see to do is to remove Activesync and reinstall, but that has to wait for the weekend. Anyone else face a similar issue? If I can't get Mobsync to work again, is there an alternate program that will sync folders between a mobile device sd card and pc that you recommend?

X51V
A12
Mobsync (latest version)
AS4.2

TIA,
Andy

I'm not a mobsync expert, but I do use it. I once had to uninstall it and reinstall it. I just gave me an error and acted like it couldn't find activesync 3.8.

Have you tried seeing if it is a file that is corrupted. Try syncing one file until you find the culprit.

I tried MobSync and it would disconnect my X5 ppc2003 before anything could be sync'd (less than 1 minute).
I tried another SW utility MightySync and it had the same problem; but Mighty Sync has support.
I e-mailed them and got a response the next day.
So, if you cannot get MobSync to work, you might try MightSync; if you have problems with that there is an e-mail contact.

Thanks for the replies! I tried Mightysync and on a test of 1 folder it worked. Unfortunately, it wouldn't work after that initial trial. After a few attempts, I was ready to contact their support. Even though I suspect the fault lies with my PC, I hoped that they would give me a clue as to what went wrong. For the heck of it, I gave Mobsync anther try...and it worked. Because I had removed all the sync folders, it was a little work to get everything back. I've reset and resync'd several times with success. I don't have a clue why after repeated re boots, uninstalls and re installs with nothing to show but failure suddenly it turned around. I suspect I'll be revisiting this issue again. This is the strangest computer problem I've seen. No reason why it broke nor how it got fixed!
