Thanks, bully79. Actually there's a free Resco screen capture utility on the Dell CD which accompanied my X51v.

Magic SS is also freeware and can be assigned to a hardware button to activate it. Creates a .bmp file

Agreed. There's a lot of utilities out there ... but not all of them work too well for everybody. Anytime you can find an alternative, its going to benefit somebody! :approve:
