Is Skype a scam?They say you get free calls in the US for the rest of the year,but is there a catch?Does the person you are calling have to pay for it?Do you have to pay for every call you made during the "free" period after it is over?I need to know if Skype is a scam or a good way to make phone calls from my X30.

Skype rocks !!! It is now owned by eBay (don't know if that's good).
I believe it's only the US that get free calls to landlines, the rest of us have to pay but the cost is next to nothing. UK to Australia is 1.7p per minute.

Skype works for me and if there is a catch thay will just have to catch me.

it's worked for me. even though i've gotten stuck with a lot of skyeout that i don't use right now because because of the free landline calls. Come the fall when i will be travelling in Europe, i think i'll be able to use some then.

Skype is very good. I've been using it for years for international calls. It's a reliable and legit company.

It requires you to enter country code even to dial a number in the US.This is annoying.

The biggest problem is I can't install it on a storage card because the SD slot has to have my Wi-fi card on it.I also have Opera Mobile on my very limited main memory.Is it possible to put some of Skype's files on Built-in Storage and some in Main Memory?

I have runm it from my SD card before, it's do-able. Use Cabinstl.exe to install it to wherever you wish; link in MyPDA.
