I cannot believe there is not a bit of PPC software that does this...
I need some software that
1) Runs on Windows Mobile 5 Device (Aximx50v)
2) When run goes to the internet, saves a predefined file (in my case, a TomTom Point of Interest) to a predefined local folder, overwriting the file (or asking if I want to do that).
3) Stores the predefined files.
The closest I can see is EzDownload, but that doesn't seem to remember the files I want, which is a little annoying.
Basically, I'm using a little program on my PC that periodically goes onto the net and downloads the latest UK traffic news and converts it into a TomTom .ov2 file. I've then created a scheduled task that publishes this file upto my internet site every so often. What I then want to be able to do is download this file to my PDA via GRPS/Wifi so that the next time TomTom is started up, it can pickup this current traffic report and populate the maps. I'm fine upto this last part, and just cannot seem to find a utility that does this.
It only needs to be a QaD (Quick and Dirty) applet, the locations could be defined in a text file so doesn't really need a UI apart from maybe a scroll bar to indicate download status.
Can someone suggest such a applet, or fancy bashing one out for the good of the community - I would If I could program! :approve:
