Okay- here's yet another question...

Anybody figure out how to use different (better..longer) sounds for alarms? How about playing mp3 clips as alarm sounds?

Thanks

Alanek4

BTW thanks to TSB8C and BluWolf1 for the stopwatch references. Now I'm wondering about a better alarm clock function.

Do you have any pinball games on the PC? Boucoup WAV files.
Save any WAV to the Windows folder and they'll be available in the sounds & notifications dropdown list.

Don't know about mp3s though ...

You could try SuperAlert or SPB Pocket Plus both have repeating alarms. I especially like the one in Pocket Plus as the alarm increases in volume the longer it runs. So if you are in a public place it is likely you will hear it at a reduced volume before everyone else is looking at you!!

ok, here's what you can do...

1) Download Chameleon Clock for PC.
2) Choose a WAV alarm file from from the directory.
3) Get a shareware music file editing software.
4) duplicate the wav file length (using copy-paste on the software you downloaded)
5) Get a WAV compressing software and compress the file you made.
6) Copy the file to the Windows folder on your Axim.
7) Buzzzzzzzzzz.. IT WORKED!

PS. All the utilities mentioned above can be found on http://www.download.com

I haven't tried it yet, but CoolClock is supposed to be very cool. Don't know that I personally will buy it as I really like StopTime, but I think I am gonna give the demo a try :).

The only problem with CoolClock is that it costs $20... This is a $5 program if I ever saw one....
