I am looking at getting this program to replace one that I am currently using. The one I have been using keeps having problems and does not sync half of the time.

Splash ID looks pretty good. If you are using this program can you give me the pro and con of this program?



Does anyone know if there are coupons out there that I can get a discounted price when I order?

I use SplashID. It has encryption, lockout, a desktop component, start up fast, searches fast, intuitive. I also have another product that I am not currently using, but it is good as well. What are you using that is not syncing?

Yep, works quite well.... one nice feature is that it autolocks after a few minutes, so even if you don't have your Pocket PC password protected your stuff is still safe even if you lose your PPC when SplashID is open....

I have been using SlashID for years (used it on a Palm before upgrading to my Axim) and its been GREAT! The fields can be customized, which is also nice. They offer a FREE version for PPC only, which sounds great....BUT having the Desktop version also is a HUGE advantage in both data entry and having a "back-up". Check out akheron's "My PDA" for the link to the PPC only FREE version.

I had the FREE version installed on my SD card. However, when I did a Hard Reset for A12, a lost all of my SlashID data since part of it is kept in Main Memory for some reason. After that, I bought the full version and have been backing up that database regularily. I was able to get around $20 off as part of their "upgrade" progrqam by entering in my Palm version Registration Key.
