SK Tools Backup and system passwords

In order for SK Tools Backup automatic feature to work the system pass word needs to be turened off. This makes the feature almost useless. Is there a way to work around this. Perhaps a SKScheMa script or something similar. Does any one have ideas for this?

When SKScheMa runs a reminder script it will run a sound file in the background if selected. Why will it not run the Backup? At any rate, it is disappointing. Ideas will be appreciated.

I have tried it with SKScheMa and all is well. SKScheMa is a nice kit. What I have done is made short cuts for the SK Backup utility and I launch the backup through the SKScheMa. At first I was trying to launch the back up by directly accessing the backup file and that did not work.

The procedure is to first make a backup file with SK Backup. Then you edit a text file with the proper command line and path to your backup file. For example for me it looks like this: 1#:SKTOOLS #BACKUP(\Built-in Storage\Backup\Backup1.asb). This shortcut is then the target in SKScheMa.

In SKScheMa I hit: New>Command>File and then select the path to the shortcut. Select the time for the backups, days of the week, and so on. I have set up four backup files: #1=Mon & Thu; #2 Tue & Fri; #3 Wed & Sat and #4 for Sunday. and one clean backup that will not be touched. Then I have one clean back up that will not be updated. They all are compressed at the hightest setting. They backup to the PC with MightySync (MobSync will also work). All fit in my built in storage and if it fails I have copies on the PC. That is every thing I need and more.

When the backup goes off the power light blinks but the password screen stays put. The backup then ends with a soft reset.

SKScheMa is really a great program it can do so much more than just schedule backups. The alarm facility is also nice and you can combine it with nScriptM and really do amazing things. Money well spent as far as I am concerned.
