Traylaunch

Does anyone else use PHM tolls' Traylaunch?? It is a great program which allows you to launch programs from the bottom bar.

So, the question I have is when you put something on the bottom bar, is there a way to change the icon?? PHM, if you are listening, this would be a great feature to add if it cannot already be done. The program I am launching shows up as just a folder icon. I would really like to change that.

That is one of the reasons that I use iLauncher. I can change the icon as well as choose applets, folders or whatever. It's great, and looks great.

I think you'd have to first create a shortcut that contains a reference to the icon and then add that shortcut to TrayLaunch.

DDG is correct. If you want a different icon your tray, you'll first need to create a .lnk shortcut to the application, change the shortcut's icon to whatever you want to use, then have TrayLaunch use the shortcut.

OK. That just sounds way too complicated for what I was trying to do. :)

DeeCee, I can see where ilauncher is more robust than traylaunch, but traylaunch was "free-er". :)

Yeah, free is very nice. :) Sometimes you have to take the free option over the feature rich option. :)

Ravi, I don't know how traylaunch works on WM%. I got it as part of PHM Power Tools.
