I need to take screen shots of Birdsoft's All in Texas Hold 'Em and no screen capture utility will allow me to do so. I've tried Magic SS, Vidya, and Webis Screenshot and none work. I guess it has to do with it being a game rather than text. Any ideas?
SOTI and screen cap from your PC... It might just work...
Might come out like crap, but better than nothing.

I read Menneisys guide and got several ideas, and also learned that not many screen capture utilities work with vga and games. So I'm bumming right now.
Resco's screen capture seems to work (need to minimize game to start the 10sec capture delay)

What KPDUTY said. I've used Resco's and even gotten screen caps of videos playing in TCPMP, but not with the default video accelerator setting. If it can capture the video overlay, it should have no problem with a game.
Update: I tried xn view and it works fine with capturing the screen on all programs except I can't get it to capture the screen on the game. I'm trying "get pda screen" now.
edit: this works great, but there is a software in my pda that forces AS to shut off everytime a transfer occurs b/t my pda and desktop. So every image transfer shuts my pda off. Meaning I have to reconnect to AS after every shot. Oh well, at least it works. Thanks again to everyone!
edit #2: Hey! I finally got it to work! Thank you very much for your help. I hit capture, then hit Start, then programs, then games, then went into the game, then it took the picture (without ever exiting xnview).
Before, when it wasn't working, I hit capture, closed the program, then opened the game, and it didn't work.
I appreciate your help, Inertial.
Steve
