SendTo Beta v0.0.6 Released 11/18/06

This utility is an Internet Explorer plugin for the desktop pc,
- allows you to select text
- Right-Click the context menu option 'Send To Notes(PPC)' or 'Send To Text(PPC) to create a new note/text file on the pocket pc.

v0.0.6 now includes a bunch of fixes:
-DateTime Stamp fixed
-Now copies URL and appends it to the header
-Alert Message if the clipplet is bigger than 1024 characters
-Dissalowed Notes files from being editing on PocketPC, by setting ReadOnly.
-Included an Application Icon
-Minor program fixes

So it uses the notes format. And then what, next time you sync, it syncs to your axim.

I would rather have the .txt format since its smaller and more universal, but this is still good.

Yes, thnx. Txt is small, universal and it runs nively on all platforms.

Just make sure you have tillanosofts rock stable pocket notepad, that is free andjust like win notedpad.

Dot pocket uses a common clip board between the PC and the PPC. What ever I cut or coppy on the pc or the ppc is sent to the other. This works good. Prior to DotPocket I used OPClip at http://www.opbyte.it/opclip/ which is close to what you are trying to do. It has a desk top utility. It works ok. It has hot keys that work. There is a link on the site for a Pen Commander macro that speeds things up on the PPC. So, you may not have to reinvent the wheel.

Actualy, I never knew what PocketPaste was. This program takes your selected text and puts it directly into your notes.
You don't have to have the program open on your pocket pc then paste it into a note.

Its handy for storing clippetts and such.

Is it possile to make this work with other programs for windows? Like Firefox or notepad?
