Programs Syncable with Pocket Informant?

Anyone happen to know of a product NOT called Microsoft Outlook that one can toss on a desktop to syncronize with Pocket Informant, or is it only Outlook that can be synced?

Great question. I think there is a Franklin Covey product that syncs, although a bit expensive. You're right about Outlook, it SUCKS. If anyone else has input, I'd appreciate it as well.

Actually, PocketInformant uses the same databases on the PDA as the ROM-based Pocket Outlook.

I use Act! 6 on the desktop and Act! Link to sync it to the pda. I use PI on my pocket pc. So does Robman and a few others. I think I have more info in my pda and if you do a search you'll find a thread about it as well. you can pm me for more info. It's a great combo.

Another possibility is "Time & Chaos"

You need to buy an additional program to sync it with your Pocket PC. It looks pretty good (although a bit pricey once you've bought the two programs), but as the sync tool isn't WM5 compatible yet i haven't tried it myself. If you have an earlier operating system, it might be worth a try?

you could always use intellisync, and then one of the supported pims.

If you're on Linux, then the KDE PIM can sync with the Ax. I haven't gotten it working yet, but it's been done.

There are alot of programs that sync w/o AS. Check out the 2006 awards at Smartphone and Pocket PC Magazine on line. Unfortunately, it looks like all the good ones cost some bucks.
