Opera + Calligrapher: No spaces recognized in web forms

I searched but did not see a post on this problem. When using calligrapher in opera I can't get it to recognize any spaces that are entered. Other applications have no problem recognizing the spaces. Is there a fix for this? I already submitted a bug report.

Opera does that with most other SIPs, in my experience - it seems to use a non-standard text interface or something... which means that outside of the keyboard, it'll add spaces or other odd bits to various items you enter.

TenGo doesn't work either.

Here's the Fix:
Go to Start-->Setting-->System-->Memory

In the uninstall tab select Opera and Ok.

Download hacked Opera from HERE.

Install and you'll find that all is well. Enjoy!

As I said, most SIPs don't work with it, due to what appears to be a non-standard text entry interface in the program. And I wouldn't call NetFront a 'hacked' version of Opera either. It's another web browser, which is better at drawing pages as if they were on the desktop, but not as good at compressing them for single-column browsing in my experience. This is more like calling Tengo a 'hacked' version of the built-in keyboard than anything else - also known as a blatant lie.

You could try a little less sarcasm in the future - it might get you further. ;)

Yup, Opera Mobile HAS problems with non-standard SIP's.

... and it has far worse JavaScript / Ajax compliance too.

Opera emailed me back after submitting a bug report, and asked for more details. Other than that, no response or fix. Maybe if others submit a bug report too, they will try harder to fix the problem.
