installed wisbar advanced, the the dektop plugin. But the screen got garbled.

just got the axim today, so i installed some apps, thanks to Soti PocketController.

First wisbar advanced , that went ok.

Then the wisbar desktop, after that the screen got "garbled".

Uninstalled wisbar desktop, and it all seemed ok again.

Searched for some clues, and renamed the themes folder to old. Seemed to work, but what next?

I have used WAD, but I'm not sure if it works in TRUE VGA mode. Oh and make sure you disable one of the task managers (either Wisbar or Ilauncher)

It works in True VGA mode, made a skin for it. Plus you can find True VGA shots using WAD as well.

Make sure the themes you're using are TrueVGA enabled. Otherwise, create a fresh theme to work with.

On a side note, if your going to use True VGA, you will need a QVGA theme to accomplish this. Even though your device is a VGA device, when you switch to True VGA and use a VGA theme, it will look garbled. Use a QVGA theme instead.

What your problem looks like is that you have to select the button "stretch the wallpaper". This should solve having four 1/4 size copies on your screen.

is there a way to start the today plugin via a shortcut?

start ilauncher via shortcut etc, have to look more into that

I am not sure exactly what you are asking but the best help I can give you is to visit the forums at lakeridge. There are many people that know way more than me about this.

Regarding iLauncher, I find there is little need for it becauce you can get the functionality of it with using shortcuts anywhere on your screen. (if that makes any sence?)

For Today screen plugins like Pocket Breeze and Pocket Weather, I created an extra virtual page for each and a shortcut to each.

On my main today page, I place an icon for pocket Weather and set the function to open Pocket Weather vitual page. You can also place arrows or anything else to change pages.

on first screen i put a shortcut to next page, then a link to previous page.

So, ilauncher and some today plugins can be on second page. And calendar info on first page.

Also found that landscape mode has also a new dekstop, so maybe use that as virtual page 2 instead. Easier when landscape mode is set to record button.
