I screwed up my contacts in my pda by synching with 2 pcs, so i erased all my contacts on my Axim, so when i synscéd with the right one all would be fixed.

BUT, forgot that I had the option that when there was conflict it should use the data on the Axim. after spending some time trying to fix this, i made it worse.

This is how things are now:

I now have 600 contacts as part of 1 contact, it look kind of like this:

I don't quite understand your situtation... what exactly to you mean by "600 contacts as part of one contact"? The example you posted doesn't show anything like that.

If you are saying that it replaced your good contact data on your computer with the combined mess off of your pda and you had use pda data if there is a conflict. Then on your computer just use your backup of the contacts and re-install them. Then on your pda select use computer data if conflict. Hopefully, you do have your contact list backed up on your computer.

Now I only have 1 contact in my Outlook, that has as part of its notes this (600 hundred times over):

Have you ever exported your contact list off your computer into a file? If you now have garbage for contact data, then try clicking on the import (on computer) and importing the data back to your computer. You may want to delete all the bad data before doing this. Once you get the data back then do the proper sync and the info will be back on your pda

Well I was able to put the data in an excel file, but when I try to import it, Outlook says I have a problem with the ranges.

any ideas???
