Problems with e-wallet

I just installed e-wallet and can't get to sync with the axim X30. (active sync works fine) I purchased the pro version and e-wallet is installed on both the desktop and the pda. I put all my info in ewallet via the desktop and now can't get it to sync with the pda. It gives me the "xp has detected an error, send error report?" business. (desktop is running xp media center addition)

I then tried to create a new wallet and went through the configuration set-up and it said it was configured and ready to sync. Yet it has the same problem, it will start the sync process and run for a few minutes, then lock up the desktop screen, and finally display the error message.

In retrospect I think I made a mistake purchasing ewallet as it is far more feature laden than I need for my simple info management needs. I used to use "cloak" on my palm V and it worked very well. But now that I've spent my $30 for ewallet, I'd like to get it working.

Did you set up the sync options in eWallet on the desktop to sync with file sync?

No, I think I selected the option to use ewallets "syncpro", and it doesn't seem to give me an option to change that now within my current wallet???

I do not currently have eWallet installed. I bought it, but prefer SplashID.

There is a section on synchronization in the User Manual.

Don't be discouraged - same happened to me but fixed very quickly by Ilium.
Send an email to them with a copy of your 'Sync Log' on your desktop. A rep will be contacting with a fix.

Yes, you should be able to get eWallet to work for you. I simply do not have it installed at this time, so referring to the manual seems the next best alternative.
