First,

to aximsite. I assume you have done much of the following, but just in case. See if you have any better luck after each suggestion.
1. soft reset
2. Uninstall agenda fusion, soft reset, and look for any left over files that you can remove, soft reset.
3. False hard reset. Go through the steps for a hard reset. When it asks it gives you the opportunity to continue, do not continue. this results in a soft reset.
Short of a full hard reset on the axim, this is about all I can think of.
Before hard reset which is the remedy of last resort, as you will lose everything on the axim, you can try to reinstall activesync on your pc and see if you can re-establish a connection to your computer. If you can, then you can download some of the clean up tools to empty your temporary folders and get rid of extra files from bad installs.
Try each of these things one at a time.
As I said, a hard reset may be your only answer.
