i already did a seach in this form...i see there are plenty of remoTe for my axim x30 (mid), but most of them are "learning" remote. meaning that u need the actual remote for it to "learn." well i lost my sony vcr slv688hf remote.

so is there any remote program program out there for my axim...where i just punch in a code and it will knows it? thx in advance.

once again...i dont want any remote where u have to "learn"...just a code.

Are the codebases exchangable between software platforms ? They should be?

Another solution would be to buy a universal remote control which have a function which trys a number of commands until one works and you tell it to stop OR you enter in the code that matches your tv give in the universal remote documentation. Then once you have the right info, copy it over to your PDA.

So you end up needing a pda for it anyway.

Is sad that none of these are true universal remotes for the money that they charge for them.
