does anyone know where I can find a decent terminal application for WM5? Mainly for telnet sessions and tracerouting. I found a few, but none were free and all were quite buggy. Any suggestions? Thanks.

The command prompt is just an interface to the telnet and trace apps. It sounds like it's not a command prompt you want, but just telnet and trace apps?

vxUtil has a decent trace application. It's not a CLI but it works pretty well.

You're right. I worded it wrong. vxutil seems to be good for a lot of network utilities, which I need in my line of work. But not telnet that i can see in the description, but no need to fear. A link from vxutil download page brought me to microtelnet, which does the job too. Thanks. Got more than I was looking for. :)

There is another, quite popular telnet/ssh1+2 client called zaTelnet.
