PI and PB are an unbeatable combo (PI is a PIM, not PB). AF has a loyal following, so it might be worth checking out. As for SPB diary, SPB has a lot of good products, but they ripped off the PB design for their diary app. Stick with the best, PB.

Thanks all. I'm trying PI but I have a problem.

In the tasks, I set the future at 7; however, it keeps defaulting to 14... still, it shows all tasks.

I left a message for their support... no response. Any ideas?

I replied on your thread on the WebIS forum.

All fixed now. I originally installed the PI using the CAB file. I took that off and reinstalled using the EXE file and now it works.

They did respond to my inquiry and sent me the latest build. It works perfectly now.

My question to you specifically... how do you do the coloring? I can't figure that part out. Can you give me step by step directions?

The general statements about what I used are on my website. For the PocketBreeze colors, go into Font Settings then the Advanced tab. Let me know if you have specific questions.

Even though it's not a PIM, I use SPB Diary.

I have to say that Pocket Informant with Pocket Breeze is an awesome combination. I've been running them both for quite some time now. :approve: I highly recommend it.

PI and PB working in combination rock. Can't beat it and can't live without it. Once I saw how powerful the calendaring on my PDA could be using pI, there was no going back.

I've used PI alone for years and thought it was a perfect PIM.

Then I got Axim X51V and wham... PI startup time goes from 3-4 sec to 12-13 sec ! Not good, esp. if you're in a meeting and need to get to your info fast.

I tried AF and it wasn't any faster. Then, as an act of pure desperation, I tried PocketBreeze (I was, for whatever reason, dead set against using a Today plugin for a PIM). And it works like a charm ! PB is what I use now 90% of the time. I enjoy additional capabilities of PI but if I didn't have it already, I wouldn't buy it now as I find PB more than adequate.

And as somebody stated absolutely correctly, PI and PB and AF all are just front-ends to POL. So the difference between Today plugin and standalone application in this respect is minimal, limited to the interface mainly (at least for me as an end user).

I like SPB Diary, why is it not an option?
