What program do I need to read .CSV files?
HI
I have a dell axim x50v...i had a csv file which I want to read on my pocket pc. It's some kind of database file. What program do I need in order for it to readon my dell? thanks

Try opening it with pocket word and see what happens, I believe that a CSV file should be a plain text file.

CSV = Comma Separated Values. Excel should open it, not sure about pocket Excel. Try SpreadCE (link in MyPDA).

Many list managers (e.g.: ListPro, PhatNotes) would probably import it as well. Excel, of course, is the ubiquitous solution.

It depends what program created it. Some Pocket diet programs use CSV files to export or import database info. Try opening it in Office Excel.

PlanMaker will do the job. Also Sprint DB Pro imports and exports CSV files. They are not free but they are very useful programs.
