What is the best method of input you have personally used?

Just like the title says, I am looking for opinions. I have tried tengo and it's not doin it for me. And Calligrapher is pissin me off because I can't get it to properly recognize my chicken scratch. The original keyboard is okay but I want something better. Any advice or tips on how to make one of the above experiences better.

Thanks

Jerry

Calligrapher works well for me--I find that the write pad mode is best, and writing in cursive rather than print produces greater accuracy with my handwriting.

I "grew up" on Palm's Graffiti, so Block Recognizer does it for me.

Kind of depends. I've noticed that Tengo works sometimes, character recognizer at other times and the standard SIP at yet others. I think it has to do with how tired I might be at the time. I tend to need Tengo when I'm more tired, then when I'm feeling a bit sharper the regular SIP. No one method does it 100%.

The best method for me is 'cut-and-paste' but it has some limits :p

That's exactly how It works with me... When my brain is awake Tengo is amazingly quick, when my head slows I go back to letter recogniser.

Gotta love the TO BT keyboard... It's so fast.. My next choice would be letter recognizer, then after that transcriber. I found that getting a decent pen/pencil/stylus improves recognition a heck of alot. Just getting a stylus that is comfortable to use instead of the stupid skinny little thing.. Also it helps to get a screen protector that gives the right feel. If you like pencils, then get one a little rougher or if you like smooth pens than use a real smooth protector like a crystal...

Usually just the default keyboard.
Sometimes Transcriber.
Seldom use the ThinkOutside BT Keyboard, but it works well :)

I was just starting to use Calligrapher (which had some pros and cons) when I discovered TenGO. IMHO TenGO is the best! There is a small learning curve but once you are over that it is dead quick.

Doesn't seem too popular around here, but I like Fitaly. http://www.fitaly.com/winmobile/fitalymanualmay.htm

The slides are great if you need to type the same thing often.
