Hi, I was just wondering if anyone knows of any products out there that would meet most (if not all) of the following criteria:

1. Keep all relevant info about a server (serial #, Processors, IP address, etc.) or other network hardware (firewalls, routers, etc.)

2. Keep support information (ISP phone #s, hardware vendor support, software vendor support #s)

3. Secured area for admin passwords for network and equipment (don't yell at me - I know this is a risky thing to do but I have to find a good way to do this! I know I can use a tool to encrypt a Word file with the passwords but that's just a pain in the butt.)

I haven't been able to find anything that met all of these requirements so I was hoping someone would have some advice. Most asset mgmt software doesn't cut it for the network admin stuff.

not for PPC, but a good asset management program is BelManage
made by Belarc - it Tracks EVERYTHING, it's also kinda expensive, so I hope the company is paying....

I've used BelArc a while ago...

But I really need something for PPC. Mostly for those lovely times when you are away from the office (or on vacation) and someone calls you that something is horribly wrong at the office and you need to get it taken care of...it would just be nice to (securely) keep all of your server/network/admin configurations and passwords...

If you are in the USA you can find this at www.intellitrack.net or in the UK at www.barcodeworld.co.uk. There is a free demo to download at our site over here (www.assetworld.info). As you will see we market it with the iPAQ3xxx series with the Symbol SPS3000 scanner sleeve or the Dell Axim and Socket Barcode Scanner Compact Flash module. I am also looking to promote the Dell with an RFID CF chip reader for high value items and am searching (responses welcome/encouraged) for a Bluetooth scanner (like the Symbol keyfob1504) which I can use with a Bluetooth card in the Axim.

I'm using e-Wallet for this purpose and it works fine. I have one entry for each piece of equipment. The date in e-Wallet is encrypted so I am comfortable inlcuding systems passwords, etc.
