non bootleg notes

Hey all,
I want to DRAW in word... I know that this is not possible, so I tried out notes. Notes is PERFECT for what I need except for the fact that it saves in this ghetto .pwi format that isnt compatible with anything else. Are there any alternatives to Notes?

PhatPad is one choice and it will save in a variety of formats. I use PhatPad and import the images into TextMaker. Also PhatPad is integrated into PhatNotes and the images attach directly the PhatNotes (attachments not as images in the notes). PhatPad is also in a beta for a new version that should let you type and draw. It was supposed to be out this month but...

PhatPad 4 is out. My main gripes--no add page option and no clasic menue to override the worthless softkeys.

My bad, there is an option to override the worthless softkeys in PhatPad4 but it is only found on the file screeen for the program in tools menu.
