What's the story with not being able to sync? First question - do you have fast user switching enabled in Windows XP?

As for your clock question, here's a link to a terrific product that shows a fullscreen clock whilst sitting on your Axim's cradle.

Very good program and although it isn't free, it's definitely worth it.

Cheers

P.S. Are you still on ROM A06 as per the signature in your posts? If so, you really ought to upgrade to A12

Fast user switching is disabled, why do you ask?

I have the same question about a full screen time read out. While I like the SPB clock I was wondering if there is anything free. Maybe something like the Big Clock program for the Palm OS? Thanks in advance.

Hi Jakg,

Just wondering about the fast user switching - that's all. My wife and I both use the same computer (we have user switching enabled) and activesync is completely unreliable in this configuration. Thought that might have something to do with it.

As for upgrading the ROM, I feel like an idiot for asking. Of course you'll need to be able to 'talk' to your PC in order to upgrade.....

Perhaps if you provide a little more info about your syncing issue I can help. If not me, there are plenty of people on this board who'll jump to your rescue.

At any rate, have you ever been able to sync with your computer? What version of activesync are you running? If you were previously able to sync, try opening activesync, clicking 'file' then 'delete mobile device'. After doing that, try plugging the Axm back in the cradle. I've found this helps whenever I encounter the 'unable to connect to your device' situation.

If only microsoft could come up with a syncing solution like Palm's hotsync. That would be da bomb. Activesync sucks!

Cheers

I use THIS on my X30 (since it spends most of the day in the cradle doing nothing). It is like having a desk calendar. Best of all, it is FREE!
