G'Day Everyone,

Just wondering whether there's an application that will enable one to use their Bluetooth Headset as a remote for advancing slides in a powerpoint presentation? I realise that this likely doesn't exist, however it would be a really cool alternative to the program that uses 'any' Infra-red beam to do the same thing (can't remember the name of that program but I read about it on this site). Anyway, what I had in mind was using the volume switch (or buttons depending on your headset) to either 'advance' to the next slide or 'return' to the previous slide in a presentation. Finally with the Widcomm hack, my BT headset is useable with my x51v.

Any takers?

It'd be easier to cheat. Build an app to monitor the system volume... when it goes up, advance to the next slide, when it goes down, go back a slide. Probably would then have to reset the volume to, say, 50% after each slide change, thereby reseting everything for the next one. When utility starts have it set the volume to 50% and mute, when it exits have it put the volume back to the way it was before the utility ran.
