ozVGA vs Nyditot Virtual Display

Do they both do the same thing? I tried OzVGA but things are too small and adjusting the settings don't seem to work so I was just thinking about using nyditot. I am not worried about cost just functionality but I am not sure if nyditot is meant for constant use nor of its mem usage. Any opinions? Thoughts?

I am trying nyditot right now and it would be great if the stupid program would work at the resolution I want but it doesn't. Anyone know how to make OzVGA a little bigger?

Did you already have wither ozVGA or SEVGA installed?
Having either installed and installing NYDITOT = hard reset.
Been there, done that

To answer the first question: They are different. ozVGA gives you either VGA or QVGA on the screen or external output. Nyditot gives you additional 1024x768 or 1280x1024 on the external output.

There is yet another application called Dotpocket which actually creates a virtual display area up to the max RAM in your system. I used it on an old Toshiba 740 and set the resolution to 800x600 on a QVGA screen. You could only see partial text but when I used the additional remote display utility that comes with Dotpocket to display the PDA's screen on my PC, it displayed the full 800x600 and the whole area was active. Mapopolis scaled to it as well.

I wonder if you can use Dotpocket and Nyditot at the same time.....That would make for an interesting high-rez display.

I'm using Nyditot and it works better IMO than ozVGA on my X51v WM5. There's a lot of options. I thought it might be screwy since I have Microsoft Voice Command and I'm using some of the ozVGA dll files to get the contacts to show on the screen, but the install of the WM5 version of Nyditot worked without issues. I only use it when I'm browsing the web with Pocket IE. It renders the pages (layout) a little better than Opera but Opera is still the best. Opera is useless in VGA (requires standard keyboard input and in VGA, it looks tiny).
