Battery Pack Pro lite that came with the dell cd is nice and free. Has battery, internal mem/ram, external mem, brightness gauge, access to today screen options.

View MyPDA to see how it looks.

It didn't affect my clock at all.

Under your settings -> clock & alarm -> more

is the box checked for displaying clock in all programs?

Perhaps, put up your screen capture, so we can see what's going on.

What do you mean by edit the shortcuts? You mean the laucher icons I have under the battery pack? That's from a different freeware called "Scott Seligman Launcher".

There's no customization available for battery pack pro lite.

The only changes you can do to the plug-in are:
When you click on the icon/pic of the internal or external memory you rotate between the different memories available (ram/int mem, sd/cf). When you click on the number, you rotate between viewing the actual memory space free or the % memory free.
