Looking for feedback on "fair use" DVD conversion.

I've had my x51v for over a year now but never bothered to use it for DVD's but I saw a thread earlier today where "Fairuse" was recommended (Gigi) as a good way to go about it.
I downloaded it 5 hours ago and started to convert a DVD and it seems like it has to go through 3 steps. So far it has completed 2 steps and is working on the third and it tells me it has 5 hours to go.
On that basis it is going to take me over 10 hours to load a single DVD (I can rip a CD in 5 mins.) and I still have to get it onto my SD card.
As I have never done it before I stuck to the defaults on Fairuse but I am wondering if it is normal for the process to take this long.:rolling:

FairUse is awesome :approve: 5 hours to convert seems real long . I don't remember any of the movies I converted taking much more than 60-90 minutes.

Follow the steps in this tutorial: http://www.aximsite.com/boards/showt...hlight=FairUse

Thanks for that, I didn't think to look for a tutorial first. I didn't seem to get as many choices as Steve shows though.
It will be 10 hours by the time It's finished and I don't know what I will end up with.
More will follow.

It's been churning away for 7 hours and says it still has 3 to go, I might as well let it finish and see what I end up with.
I should have been able to calculate Pi to the n'th power by now.
