Using my Axim x51v, I have not been able to install Adobe Reader 2.0 for WM. I did find a download link for 1.0, which did install without problem. The version 2.0 goes thru the entire installation process and then I get an "unsuccessful installation" message.
Is this common? Any suggestions?

Hmm. I haven't run into this. Are you installing to a storage card or to the device? Do you have enough free space? Is the install file corrupt? Have you tried redownloading?

Yes! Now it installs!

:approve: I had checked the registry for footprints of Adobe as well as Program files, but I forgot all about the guide in My Documents. As previously posted in the above mentioned hyperlink:

Finally! A working solution to this problem has been found, and it seems so simple and also ridiculous that it should prevent the installation from happening. Full props to rbg08 who reported it first in a different thread.

Simply delete the Adobe Reader User Guide.pdf in your "My Documents" folder and the installation will complete successfully!
