Best Word Processor?

What are the word processor programs of choice out there?
Just wondering what I could go with that is better than pocket word.
Not too many bells & wistles there!

Right now, Textmaker. http://www.softmaker.com/english/ofp_en.htm

Dataviz Document-To-Go rules the Palm world. They are about to release a windows mobile 5 version. There is a free trial. http://www.dataviz.com/products/docu...ile/index.html

Try both trials.

I believe someone recently reviewed Textmaker, so you get can a better idea about its bells and whistles. Let us know if you have more questions.

I'm guessing everyone would agree on Textmaker!
I'm also guessing that everyone would agree that it is worth the $50 that it is selling for.
Sorry, it just ssems a bit high. It must really give you your money's worth.

***Edit*** Also, sorry for this thread - I just noticed nearly a billion with the same question!!!

for the sake of argument

I don't necessarily think the best word processor is that which is most like or oe most compatible with Microsoft Word, which in many ways leaves a lot to be desired as a writing tool.

I actually kind of like Journal Pro.

My favorite word prcessor on the PC was yeahwrite.

both are designed to keep the screen simple, the commands minimal, and for the fonts to be very easy to see/read.
I think both might be very useful on the PDA screen.
