Question weird thing with synching calendar appointments

I synch with two computers and have encountered this problem for a while now. I thought it would be taken care of with ActiveSynch 3.7 and updating the ROM but no...

Here is the deal:
I synch at work, no problem. I then take the Axim to my home computer and notice on the display that the appointment is like an hour later but when I open the appointment up it has the correct time. So for the past month when I didn't realize that the time was correct when you actually opened the appointment I've been moving the appointment to the correct time just to find it was off when I synched again at work. What a frustration!!

I should have posted this problem to the forum long before now but thought I could figure it out.

Anybody else have this problem? Thoughts?

I've had problems with synched appointments being an hour off. Check the daylight savings settings on both computers. Only way to change the daylight savings settings on your Axim, unfortunately, is with a hard reset.

appointment synch problem

robberbarron, I've got the same exact problem, except I only sync with one computer. I have also recently just started experiencing this problem, like probably for the past month and I have had the Ax since January. For the past week, I have been contacting Dell support, which really sucks. First response they gave me had something to do with the battery. Wow, I have no idea what that technician was smoking. The next e-mail I got said to do a soft and hard reset, even tho in the e-mail i said that i have already done both. I did it anyway, but no luck still. The last e-mail that I received from them was really close and thought this guy had it, but found out it is that daylight savings time issue that Cattriona is talking about. Here's the link: http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;183513

Please let me know if anything works. Thanks.

I had the same problem and the solution of changing Outlook to adjust for Daylight Savings time fixed my problem. The web site mentioned is for Outlook 97, if you have a newer version you may have to look for the daylight savings checkbox, but its there, and it fixed my appointment problem.

Thanks for the help
