WeatherPanel, one nifty Today Screen app

I want to thank whomever recommended this Today Screen plug-in, it is not free but very affordable. If you buy it from the MarsWare website and use Paypal you get 20% off making it a few cents over $10. I also downloaded the free animated icons and use the enhanced display with the moon phases, humidity, graph and a 4 day forecast. If you click on any of the icons, it takes you to a tabbed screen with 5 different chart pages.

I also uses Weather Panel, and I think it is a good program.
The draw back is that there is no support from the developer... not sure where he/she went. They're apparently still accepting payment/"donation"(since trial still works).

By the way, have you checked your moon percentage on the today screen? is it correct?
there is a problem with it, you can find the solution within this forum.

Yeah. Martian has been gone for quite a long time, so the program hasn't been updated since he left. Luckily it was stable before he left.

hi I took your advice and purchased the weatherpanel. however, i tried everything and can't activate the registration code. i followed there directions and still no success. they are not e-mailing me back with anymore instructions. and there is no phone number to contact them by phone. helppp

Hi, what I did was first download the free 15 day trial version, to see if I liked it. Then I decided to buy it, so I bought it from their website, since if you use Paypal for the payment, you save 20%. I had to register on their website to buy it, and after payment I then downloaded the Full version program. The Add Program feature of ActiveSync said that it was already installed, did I want to replace the installed version and I clicked "Yes". Then when the installed version opened up, there was a box with my owner's name filled in and an empty box for the unlock code; the unlock code came to me in an email with my purchase confirmation. I just typed in the unlock code and the program is working fine. Good luck

Yes, I am having problems with the moon phase, it always shows a new moon. I tried searching for some threads about the fix, but none come up. Do you have a suggestion? thank you

I wish I can give you the direct link... but that's not possible.
The direction is posted in there. You have to download the dll file also.
Let me know if you are having trouble fix the issue

Thank you for your reply. I visited that weatherpanel site and saw the thread with the new .dll but could not see where to download it; then it dawned on me that I had to register as a user. Did that and was able to download the new .dll. I'll get that unzipped and installed tonight.
