I know a little about pc operation as a user but not a plugged in Geek. I stumbled onto your posting about the lack of support by dell and how there are 'fixes' that may allow me o continue to use my beloved Axim. My problem is that I work for a social service organization. We have tons of confidential information on our work pc's and network. I have always been able to connect to our server with the cradle until we revised our network security with SP2 on our exchange server. Our system tech tells me that due to the change my Axim X51v will no longer talk to the network by accepting the certificate. He tells me that Windows Mobile 6 will fix this problem but now it looks like I am out of luck with my PDA. Then you came along and gave me hope. I have downloaded the NET Compact Framework 2.0 Service Pack 2 that you gave a link to. I am a bit spooked to load it or what to do next. If you can give me any words of advice that I can pass along to our systems tech to make this thing link up, it would be greatly appreciated.

I don't know if Net. CF would help much. But if you look under settings>system>certificates there's a personal section there maybe your tech could import the needed certificate.

I've noticed that Netfront 34 beta 009 (still free) under menu>tools>security setting. There's a certificate manager that allows the importing of certificates from a storage card maybe the tech. could extract the cert. and save it to a storage card and import it using Netfront 34.
