Is there a 'file manager' replacement for Destkop, instead of using ActiveSync?

HI!

Just wondering that... is available a manager that would let me copy, delete, etc. files to Device instead of using the "Explore Device" option in AS? I think there isn't, but I'm asking just in case.

Thanks

Ehmm... but Total Commander is for running IN the PPC, isn't it?
I mean from the Desktop... an app that'd manage the "Mobile Device".

I usually just either place the file into the "My Documents" folder to be found by ActiveSync or use a USB card reader and transfer the files that way.

I have not been able to explore my mobile device via ActiveSync (nor Windows Explorer) for some time now. I suppose I could try to figure it out and possibly install A/S 4.5 (I am running, loosly speaking, A/S 4.2), but that whole part of Windows Mobile with the PPC is so fragile and broken by design that when it works most of the time I just leave it alone.

Take a look at Card Export II. It lets your Axim emulate a USB mass-storage device; i.e. when you dock your Axim, it will look like a USB hard drive. This lets you copy and delete files using any desktop-based file manager. Card Export II is also significantly faster than Activesync at transferring files.
