How to force focus on Today Screen at startup?

Ever since I started to get into launching apps from the Today screen via iLauncher or freeware apps like cLauncher, etc. I've noticed that if you soft reset (which, being a paranoic, I do a lot) when you startup the d-pad doesn't navigate around the Today screen. I always have to do something first, like activate the Start Menu or something like that. The only Today plug-in that works right away with d-pad navigation on startup is Resco Today plugin, but it takes a year and a day to show up.

I know it's nitpicking, but I would really like to be able to bootup and start navigating around the Today screen right away - is there a way to force focus on the Today screen upon startup? Maybe a registry tweak or something like that?
Thanks in advance:)

try this first, assign one of your button to rotate screen (I use record button).
when you rotate the screen and back (basically, press record 2X), does that fix your problem?
if so, you need a program to refresh your today screen.
You would basically, create a short cut for fresh and put it in the startup, once it start up, it will refresh your today screen.

iLauncher options will let you select to refresh or not refresh screen after soft reset, etc.

Thank you so much, you pointed me in the right direction. I looked around and found an app that refreshes the today screen here:

http://www.mobilitysite.com/forums/u...ds-themes.html
Scroll down the page and look for 'execute my very simple app' - it links you to the utility.
You just drop it in the StartUp folder and that's it!!

It's great to have found this because the iLauncher refresh feature upon loading doesn't work. At all. Not even a little bit.

But this utility rocks - I highly recommend it to anyone that wants to refresh their Today screen at startup automatically. Cheers:)
