Cash Organizer Question

Would like to know if anyone currently is using the software Cash organizer by Inesoft. Apparently I got another X51V from Dell and when you re-install the software it gives you a new product ID number which means that the serial code you got when you purchased the software from Inesoft won't work....when you try to contact Inesoft they just won't respond to your email. Anyone know anyway around this?

I emailed support at Inesoft a few months ago explaining that I changed devices and needed a new registration number. I provided them with my purchase details and the new Product ID number from the program reinstallation. I got the new code in less than 30 minutes.

They e-mailed me right back too. It is a great program. I have had no problems with coustomer service.

Post replies to your own email to bump it. I finally got an answer to my questions that way. Also keep an eye on the inesoft forums to see if Wasyl is responding to any posts. He may be out of town.

Well, I recently had a problem synchronizing my Quicken with the CA 2007. I e-mailed them and posted on their forum and have not had any response either. I take my previous accolades back.

They have a very, shall I say, uneven customer support. They are also pretty arrogant, tending to blame the user for problems. However it still is the best pocket finance application out there...

In most ways I like CA best, it is more feature rich and looks great, but I am switching to PocketQuicken because it now will let me enter invoices for my business account. CA will not let me do that. I have pointed this out to them and they say they do not plan on adding this feature. PocketQuicken did not used to let you do this eather but now it does. I have noticed several improvements in PocketQuicken in addition to the invoice feature. The syncronization is much faster now. I prefer CA's method but I can live with PocketQuicken's now. PocketQuicken will not let you select which accounts will syncronize. That is annoying because dead business accounts from 2003 etc. are put on my machine unless I deleat them from Quicken or archive them. I will figure out a work around.

My sync problem with CA happened after cleaning up my PDA with a hard reset. Things I tried to get CA working again.
Hard Reset the Device
Deleated Partnership
Deleated ActiveSync and associated files and registry entries
Disabled Firewall and Virus protection and tried to reinstall ActiveSync 4.2 and CA

This may be an ActiveSync 4.2 problem. I cannot upgrade to 4.5 due to my database application not being compatible with 4.5. At any rate, I think I did a clean reinstall. It syncronized once and never again (I did this multiple times with the same result and error codes). So, if there is user error, I do not know where it was. PocketQuicken has worked every time with no glitch regardless of hard resets or partnerships etc. So, CA seems to have a problem. Others have complained about this on their forum and on this site. They have now lost a loyal coustomer. The upgerade was free for CA, which is nice, I would have paid for it because I liked the software so much. I am at least happy that they did not charge me for the upgrade. Now I am looking for a PocketQuicken discount (good luck).
